Remembering....

*Me and Dazey were just tiny kittens when this bad bad thing happened. Our mom remembers she was at work at school (Iowa State University) and everyone was just stunned. She was very scared. (~Jesse)

Our cousin, Jessie, is Kat's Cat of the Day! Check her out!

Here is an article from the Des Moines Paper about our Man in Green!

Boone, Ia. – About 50 soldiers from an Iowa Army National Guard helicopter unit that has spent the past year on combat duty in Iraq will be welcomed home at a public ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Boone Campus of Des Moines Area Community College. The troops are members of Company C, 2nd Battalion, 147th Aviation, which is based in Boone. They were mobilized in January 2006 and left Iowa in April 2006 for training at Fort Hood, Texas. The unit arrived in Iraq in September 2006. The soldiers flew and maintained Blackhawk helicopters that were used for combat assault operations, emergency casualty evacuations, humanitarian relief missions and other assignments.
