A beach house in the Bahamas is where our mom was wishing she was right now.
Current temp @ 9 pm CST -9*F and with the wincdchill, it feels like -31*
Oh we are so grateful for a warm home and beans to snuggle with. Mom's college went late 2 hours today so she only had to go to school for one hour today. Then she came home and stayed here. We're glad cuz she nappied on the couch this afternoon and Jesse slept with her. Tomorrow, she doesn't plan to go anywhere.
The weather beans say it's going to be the coldest it's been in over 10 years.
Mom couldn't figure out how to move the picture on the mac so we'll tell you about it here. This was taken with her cell phone through the window on Monday. You can see how much snow we have. Well, add about another 4-5" on top of that and you'll know what it looks like in our backyard. That's the Little Monkey's car and slide. It's buried. Mom found the digital camera now so maybe she'll take some pictures tomorrow to post for Friday.

Mom just looked at our outside digital thermometer and told dad da tempachur was going up...it was -9 at 6:00 and just now it said -2.9! We're glad dad left da bed warmer on all day!
It is only below freezing here and The Big Thing wouldnt let us out more than a few minutes... Yikes at minus numbers!
