rain rain.....

Bleh. We've had sprinkles all morning.
the weather beans are talking lots and lots of it later, with up to 5" in the town over (Ames-home to Iowa State University). They already flooded once this summer so paws crossed it doesn't happen again.

The MIG has an uncle and aunt down in Pasadena, TX which is a suburb of Houston. They are choosing to stay at home and ride out the storm with their 2 big woofies.

Mancat Monday, moving update

Wow. Again, time got by us and we haven't blogged in FOREVER! Let alone commented anywhere....*sigh* The Mom is busy. So she says. But anyways, here we are!

Stare directly at the flashy box. A mancat will make it a good picture! Just so you know, I no longer where the bell!

Remember back a while, we said we was moving? Well, that is no longer happening. At least not now. The Man in Green and The Mom decided since the MIG works in this town and The Mom will be going to the college in this town, it'd be stupid to move to another town and have both drive here. So, when The Mom gets done with school, we will move. Probably 3-4 years. The Mom is going to go to the college to become a nurse. She hasn't offically started yet, but soon.

We had rain and open windows this past week. More of the same this coming week. We are waiting for the rain to just STOP! We want open windows! All.The.Time!

What a week!
First, our MIG had a super great birfday last week. He and The Mom wented out for supper where he haded shrimp, scallops and steak! The Mom had chicken and steak and gave her shrimp to the MIG. He digs stuff from the ocean. Ant Kat took the Little Monkey to Petsmart where he looked at rats, hamsters, gerbils and other kitties. And last week, he also gotted to play with some other kitty cats!

That is The Mom's friends kitty. His name is Cy (after the Iowa State Cyclones Mascot). He likes kids a lot more than we do! BUt, he lives with 3 of them!

The MIG has been sick. The Mom was sick this week too. The Little Monkey is sorta sick, cept now The Mom thinks he might be getting some more toothies. He wakes up a lot lately. He's gonna be 2 soon so he's getting to be a big Little Monkey. We stay out of his way, cuz he likes to give loves. BIG LOVES.

We've had open windows a lot this week! That has been GREAT! But, we are sposed to get thunderboomies and flashing lights tonight. We haded rain the other day, overnight and tomorrow too. The rain helps the flowers, but doesn't let The Mom open windows.

last night. It rained and boomed. There were flashy lights. A really loud noise was wailing outside. It was very windy. Mom says we were in a tornado watch. And there was a confirmed tornado in the county to the west of us. Mom took some pictures so hopefully, she will upload them for us later if she has time.

In other news, our Man in Green should be leaving Iraq today! They have to spend time in Quwate Kuwait for a few days. Then they will fly to the USA! And be in Texas for a little while. Then home to us here in IOWAH!

Finally!

IT FINALLY STOPPED RAINING!!!! The sun is shining!!!!

We have some windows open and it's GREAT! Hooray!
