We had a snake in our house yesterday-2 times!
Thursday night, mom heard water running down in the basement. When she looked, there was water coming out of the sink (and it was full!) and water out of the drain! It was almost a swimming pool! Since the Man in Green is gone, she tried to fix it herself. It didn't work. So, she called some man named Jerry from Roto Rooter to come look at it.
He came and looked at it and used a big metal snake down the drain! It ate away some yucky stuff but then some black yucky stuff came up the floor. But, he got it fixed and told mom it was all better. So, she ran her dishwasher then did some laundry. Well....Jerry must not have fixed it enough because when she went to put the wet stuff in the drying machine, there was water all over the floor again. Jerry came back again yesterday. She ran the dishwasher and so far, so good. Hasn't tried the laundry machine yet. Dazey tried to snoopervise both times but was scared of the snake.
GOOD NEWS!: Our Man in Green is coming home a whole day early from Texas! They gotted all their work done so he is coming home TONIGHT! YAY!

Dat's the yucky, noisy snake that's no fun to play wif. We had one here an the man asked Mom to shut us upstairs so we couldn't snoopervise.
I won't come out when there's tradesmen - so I would have missed seeing that snake! I hide under the covers.
EW!! EEK!! She is such a rotten typist that she mis typed my blog and don't click on the one from the post before cause it's a strange one!
Ew! she put "blogpot" instead of "blogspot".
Yike, FLOODS! We have a snakie that sleeps until needed, an it works hard when awake. Only The Big Thing can handle it though (we're not gonna get anywere near it!).
Hope yer all dry...

That sounds like quite a day! I don't like the idea of water or swimming pools and such! :0
Oh, goodness ... Plumbing guys! Pfffiffftt!

We feel your pain - the plumber man spent three days here - he used the snake, then he used a camera, and then put in new thrones. We've had it with plumbers!

Snakes in a drain! Is that anything like snakes on a plane?!
Snakes?! Wow, that might be fun to play with.
