Our mom has been busy. We've gotten over 12" of the wet stuff from the sky since Sunday. Yesterday our mom discovered we had water in our basement. Not a lot, but enough to make a mess. So, our Ant Kat came and helped mom clean up the basement. Did you know that if kitty litter gets really wet it turns to sludge? That's what mom said. They were down there all day yesterday cleaning. Our litter boxes came upstairs but went back down tonight. They gotted fans blowing and now the floor is dry. She forgotted to take pictures, silly mom!
Our gramma has gotten more rain than us with more coming. They were also in the big blowy storms warning tonight. We has to call to make sure they are all right. There are flash flood warnings out for the whole state throught Friday or Saturday. Lots of roads underwater.
It is doing the flashy thing in the sky right now, more thunderboomers coming and more water from the sky. We needed it the other day but not anymore! We dont' have anywhere to put it!
Keep the Midwesterners (and those in the path of that hurricane/tropical storm, depression) in your prayers.
5 hi-fives:
We were watching the weather back there on the news and have been thinking of the kitties in the paths of those storms. Be well and be safe.
I hope the rain stops soon! Flooding is very BAD.
yikes - how awful! we'd be glad to take some of that wet stuff off your paws. it's so dry out here that there's a constant fire danger.
We have gotten a lot of rain here too. My Lady doesn't like it. It makes her hair go frizzy.
We's in the same boat... or make that ark?
Our boxes is in the lawndry room, which luckily isn't carpeted, but the boy scatters litter when he cleans the boxes an sum water gotted in and... well, you know. They fink we needs a new roof cuz there's water in the basement?!
Hope you don't haf to deal wif any floodin! None likely at our house.
