Hi!

hi everyone,

we've been MIA again.
Mom's busy. She finished up her summer class (physiology with a B-!) and is gearing up to start fall semester next Wednesday. So she's been busy cleaning, playing with the Little Monkey, trying to squeeze in some summer fun...

as for us, we've just been hanging out in the basement basket or under mom's bed. The MIG is doing the 2 week army thing so he's been gone a lot and is currently in WI until tomorrow. Then next Monday he goes to St Louis. Whew, he's
busy.

We had lots of thunder booms and flashing lights last night. And lots of water pouring from the sky. It got really windy too. Mom had to shut all the windows.

I've never done this before. Mom was throwing clothes down the steps to throw down the clothes thingy that goes ALL the way to the basement. The little monkey likes to help so I thought I'd help too. Mom saw me and took this picture with her cell phone. I've never been in this space before. Mom told me she's glad I didn't fall , but if I had, at least there was a safe place to land at the bottom.

busy-ness? What about our blog??

As usual, our mom is neglecting our blog again. *sigh* We've missed a bunch of stuff lately.

She says she's busy. She starts her summer term class tonight (physiology) and it's 3 hours/2 nights/week. She is less than thrilled but it will be one less class to take while she is in the nursie program. By the way, she didn't get in for fall like she was hoping so paws crossed for spring semester. She's finished all the pre-req thingies so now has to wait for a spot to open up.

It rained the last two days. on Tuesday, we had over 2" inches in one day. That makes us all, including the Little Monkey, crazy. We don't get open windows and he doesn't get to play outside.

Mom has been cleaning and throwing out stuff. Can you believe she disturbed our nappy spot in the basement?!!!??? We should put the bitey on her for sure for that....

grrrr @ Blogger....here we are

We tried to post the other day, but Blogger wouldn't let us. Or it would but would post our pictuer 29292 squillion times, then not let Mom delete the post and start over. GRRRRR

Here we are. We are alive. It's rainy and cold.

Been busy around here:

Mom had 2 anatomy tests this week. SHe has started her kitty dissection. Her kitty's name (teacher required a name) is Esteban. Her partner named him. We hear he was quite the tomcat in his day, if you get what we mean. She says it's going ok and so far, she doesn't need any extra work on the dissection part....

Mom's been diagnosed w/carpal tunnel syndrome in both arms. That's parta the reason we've not been posting too. Her wrists hurt. She goes to the doctor today for a nerve conduction test. She's not sure what that entails, but will tell us when she gets home.

We had a fruit fly invasion. it was fun to chase all those bugs! Mom and the MIG sure didn't like it though.

We gotted new crunchies. We all liked them, which is surprising.

We had stinky goodness yesterday. Again, we all liked it. AND no one yakked up later! (Jesse never ever does that!)

We think that's all the news from here. Now that the tests are over for a while, maybe we can visit and post. That is, if mom's arms feel better.

ENOUGH!

Our mom has been busy. We've gotten over 12" of the wet stuff from the sky since Sunday. Yesterday our mom discovered we had water in our basement. Not a lot, but enough to make a mess. So, our Ant Kat came and helped mom clean up the basement. Did you know that if kitty litter gets really wet it turns to sludge? That's what mom said. They were down there all day yesterday cleaning. Our litter boxes came upstairs but went back down tonight. They gotted fans blowing and now the floor is dry. She forgotted to take pictures, silly mom!

Our gramma has gotten more rain than us with more coming. They were also in the big blowy storms warning tonight. We has to call to make sure they are all right. There are flash flood warnings out for the whole state throught Friday or Saturday. Lots of roads underwater.

It is doing the flashy thing in the sky right now, more thunderboomers coming and more water from the sky. We needed it the other day but not anymore! We dont' have anywhere to put it!

Keep the Midwesterners (and those in the path of that hurricane/tropical storm, depression) in your prayers.
