Thursday Thirteen #14

We are going to use the next couple Thursday Thirteens to tell you about the special beans in our lives. This week, you are going to meet the Mom that Visits (MTV) or our Ant Kat (short for Kathryn).

1. She will turn 24 years old in September.



2. Our Ant Kat gotted married 3 September 2006.



3. Her husband is 'llergic to cats so Conner can't go lives with her.



4. She is in the Iowa Air National Guard. This means she's a "Weekend Warrior" (kinda like our Man in Green.) This is her at her "Basik Training" in Texas back in 2004.



5. Her favorite color is RED.



6. She is younger than our Mom that Lives Here by 4 years.



7. Some people think that Ant Kat and our Mom that Lives Here are twins. (they are not!)



8. Ant Kat taught Conner Cloud how to beg (and get!) the milk from the cereal bowl.



9. She likes penguins.



10. She wants a *gasp* woofie! (more specifically, a Beagle to name Huckleberry).



11. She haded a hamster once named Noah but he died. He was an escape artist so her and the granpa had to wire up his cage. We never met him.



12. Her teddy bear's name is Bartholomew Fluffy. He used to come to visit us when she sleeped on the couch but he's old now.



13. She is in college right now and will be for a while. We aren't sure for how long, but probably a squillion more years.

Spring Cleaning?!

Since it's now spring, our MTLH has been talkin' about spring cleaning. We just thought it meant her getting out the big sucky machine a lot. We didn't know she was talking about us!!

The MTV (our Ant Kat) comed over today to help torture us! Normally, we likes her a lot! But not today!!!

Can you guess what happened........................................... All 3 of us got it and got it BAD! No pictures of Dazey though. We are thinking about moving out and finding a place of our own! Or, can we come live with you?

We gots lots of TEMPTATIONS when we was all through. We not too sure if it's worth it though.

Frootbat Friday

This is a picture of our frootbat. We is not sure what kind of kitty he is. His name is Stitch. He was in some movie about aliens and Hawaii. He comes with our Mom that Visits (MTV~AKA Ant Kat) when she comes to sleep at our house.

Tummy Tuesday

(Sorry it's a little blurry). This was taken when the MTV still lived here. That is Donkey from Shrek. You can see his belly too. It's white, like mine.

Proof of what VISHUS DEER can do!

As promised, here are some pictures that the MTV (Aunt Kat) took of her car after the horrible VISHUS DEER attack last week. You can even see the FUR in the window!! Caution: Not for younger kitties!

Aunt Kat is OK!

First, thank you very much for all your headbutts, purrs and prurryers for our deer (haha get it? Dear=deer!) Aunt Kat. She is doing very well today. She is pretty stiff but we is so happy that she was not more seriously injured.
We gots the MTLH's other macheen out of the storage and she will drive that until her macheen gets fixed. She taked some pictures of the damage and you can see the VISHUS DEER FUR!!! It was fury fury scary!We'll have her and the MTLH put them up on the blog here next week (She has to play Air Force person this weekend so we has to wait_.

It's still really cold here. They say it is the coldest it has been in over 2 years!! It's -8* F right now but with the wind chill feels like -17*! The weather beans say -25* Windchills tomorrow! The MTLH and the 2-legged kitten are staying home again. That means more snuggle time!

VISHUS DEER ARE BAD

We weren't sure if we believed it or not about the vishus deer but we do now!

Our Aunt Kat (The mom that Visits, MTV) gotted hit by a BIG buck on her way home from work tonight. It shattered her car's windshield and put her side mirror in the middle road. The liscense plate holder is broked. She's ok but there was glass and deer fur everywhere.

She said she couldn't help hitting it. Her car stalled when she hitted her brakes. He was standing in the middle of the road. And an important rule is to NEVER VEER FOR DEER. The Mom that Lives Here says that's how people get killed in accidents with vishus deer. They try to swerve to miss them and roll their car or hit another one.

Please send up some kitty prurryers for her this night. We thinks she'll be sore for a bit.

Thursday Thirteen Edition #8

We just couldn't come up with any good topics for a TT this week! Sorry poodins! So, we decided to post 13 "snags" that the MTLH has on her computer. She is in an MSN group about animals and that's where most of these came from.

1. We likes this one cuz it's Patriotic. We has to be patriotic since we have our Man in Green and the Mom that Visits in the military.

2. This is what Cloudie will look like when the MTV finally gets him his goldfishie he was promised at Kittymas.

3. This is what we look like when we sneeks downstairs in the middle of the night to catch up on the blog.

4. This is what the Man in Green calls the MTLH.

11. This reminds the MTLH of Jesse. The monitor is Jesee's favorite place to sleep.

12. We wish the MTLH could start a fire in our heaty box like this. But she says it needs a new flume or liner or something. Bummer. We could use it when it's -10*F Mom. Did you hear that? We're COLD mom!


13. This one is for our Man in Green too. We just want everyone to know how proud we are of him and what he is doing. And also for all the military keeping us safe!

13 Things I have learned since I was a kitten

1. If someone rings the doorbell, I probably don't like them. Best to stay up on the MTLH's bed.
2. Vacuum cleaners are NOT your friend.
3. If you climb on people with all of your clawed paws, you get thrown in a garbage can and then declawed. (This is a long story, maybe I tell it sometime!! This involves my old dad, not the Man in Green or anyone else that I loves)
4. No one can resist an orange cat.
5. If you miss someone enough, they'll come back (like my mom that visits)
6. If I climb on someone, they will look like they belong to me.
7. Being the runt doesn't mean you'll always be little. (Did you hear that Skeezix!?)
8. If a toy goes under the couch and you try to get it out long enough, someone will lift the couch and find you more toys. This is such a fun game! you should try it!
9. Earplugs are more fun if they aren't in yer ears!! You can put the bitey on them!

10. If the parental units (MTLH, Man in Green or MTV) start being nice and you can't find yer sisters, it's probably bath time. RUN AND HIDE FAST FAST FAST!

11. Socks weigh a ton when thrown on your back.

12. If you're good to the 2 legged kitten, the mom that lives here brags about you to people!
