Friday

First, THANKS for all the birfday wishes we gotted last week! We had a good day. We gotted stinky goodness (only on special occasions cuz it normally makes one of us, if not all, yak) and some new mousies!! Lots of pets too!

The Mom and MIG are going away tonight! And are going to be gone for 2 whole nights! They're leaving the Little Monkey here though. So, we'll have some new people to investigate (if we're brave enough to come out)

The beans also gotted a new desk! IT's REALLY BIG! It'll be fun to play on! And a new computer to go on it. We'll have mom post pictures next week. Jesse is going to lose her kitty cat warming box. (I don't think she knows that yet!)

It's been warm this week and cool this week. The weather guessers are saying rain. All.Next.Week. That means......no open windows.

Mom goes back to school next week. We gotted to sleep in with her this week cuz she was on somethin' called Spring break.

It's cold. We hate it.

We have the white stuff on the ground. Mom hates it. (not a lot, but the weather beans are saying more is coming)

The Little Monkey is on his way to getting sick. Mom doesn't like that either.

This is me, back in the spring. I wish it were spring now. See, no snow on the ground!

2 weeks

2 weeks down and 3 days to go, according to mom. Then she'll be back home every day to be at our beck and call. Oh, wait, the Little Monkey's beck and call.
The good news is she didn't forget the feed us these last two weeks. The bad news: the time was off and it was different every day. We readed blogs through google reader these last couple weeks so we know we didn't get around to anyone and left very few comments.

We got windows open here today and all this week. Mom says the weekend is shaping up to be beautiful too.

The other day, when Mom and the Little Monkey were leaving for the day, i got outside. And I didn't want to come back. I laid down under her moving machine. I overheard her tell the MIG she was ready to leave me outside!!!

We hopes to be back soon!

study buddies

Tonight I helped mom study tissues and cells. Of course, she thinks it works better if I don't lay on the book. After I decided the book wasn't much fun, I climbed up behind her on the chair and layed there.
The stupid orange cat found a piece of candy wrapper and proceeded to bat that around and disturbed my resting/bonding with mom. Boys! What can you do with them?

It's our mom's 29 squillionth birfday today.

She has to go to a wedding. With the Little Monkey. They are both in it.

She says she's not celly-brating anymore birfdays after this one.

Thursday Thirteen #29-HAPPEE ANNIVERSAREE!

(Their wedding cake. They gotted married 5 days after the MIG asked Mom. His old National Guard unit was sposed to go to Irak then. They never did. So, it was a small, private ceremony at mom's church. Ant Kat was the Maid of Honor and the MIG's good friend Steve was the Best Man. There were about 17 people besides Mom, the MIG and the pastor)

It's our mom and the MIG's 5th Wedding anniversaree today! So, we've known the MIG for a whole 6 years and a few weeks now!

Thirteen things that have changed in our lives since mom and the MIG gotted together (not just married)

1. Jesse and me (Dazey) got to come live in this big house. Before, we were living in an apartment with mom's ex-boyfriend. When she moved out, she couldn't take us with her. A couple months later, she came and got us!
2. Conner (and his old dad) came to live with us almost 6 years ago (August).
3. We've gone from a small bed in mom's room to a big bed!
4. We eat a different food now.
5. We use 3 litter boxes.
6. The Man in Green was gone for a very long time to Irak. We kept mom company.
7. The Little Monkey (then, 2-legged kitten) came around in July 06.
8. Mom doesn't go out day hunting anymore. She stays home all day.
9. We got 2 woofie cousins now-Abbott and Bullet.
10. There are a lot more windows that can open for us to lay in.
11. Mom used to have a hamster. he died before she came to live here though. Jesse and I would watch him through his cage and sometimes jump in with him!
12. Mom always tells the Man in Green that she has had me and Jesse longer than him! It's true! She gotted us 8 months before she ever met the Man in Green.
13. We get double the love and scritches!

Thursday Thirteen #26

This is our first day posting after Chrissymas. We hope everycat had a good day!

Our family had to come home early from their trip because the Little Monkey got sick. So, we weren't alone all night! But the mom and Man in Green were only in the bed for 3 or 4 hours so we didn't get much cuddling time. They had to take Little Monkey to the ER in the morning cuz he was coughing really bad. The bean vet said it was just a cold-mom wasn't happy about that answer though.

Then, instead of going to our gramma's house, our gramma, grandpa, Ant Kat, Uncle Travis and Uncle Bruce came here! So, we weren't alone on Chrissymas either!

Can you belive that they had to take the Little Monkey to the ER again on Chrissymas night?!! He ran off after his bath and fell into the dresser and got cut above his eye. He got 4 stitches! Mom said he is doing just fine, that it does not bother him at all. This is him...you can see his owie above his eye.

Whew....anyway, on to the last Thursday Thirteen of 2007!!

13 Things we want to do in 2008!

1. Go outside more!


2. Eat lots and lots and lots of Temptations and other treats!


3. Beg for more tuna!


4. Find a stinky goodness all 3 of us like!


5. Find new nappy spots!


6. Drink more fishy water from Goner's bowl (Mom's not happy about that)


7. Let the Little Monkey pet us (maybe)


8. Blog more regularly (MOM!)


9. Comment more on our friend's blogs. We read a lot of them, but don't always leave comments.


10. Get up on the counter where we are not supposed to be (Mom doesn't like this one either)


11. Pose for more pictures for our blog.


12. Meet new blogging friends!


13. HAVE THE BEST YEAR EVER! Me and Jesse are gonna be 7 years old in April and Conner will be 6 in March!

I am nominating The Mom that Lives Here for FLOTY. She is my momma and I luvs her!
Here are my "Monday 13" reasons why.
1. She feeds me. I like Purina Indoor Kitty Formula. It tastes good. She always makes sure there is some in the bowl. Even if it's not time to eat!
2. She chose me! When me and Dazey were borned, she wuz only going to take Dazey. Then she looked at me and decided I needed to come live wif her and Dazey. I'm so glad she did!
3. She let us join Friends of Skeezix on Catster. He's a great friend!
4. She let us get our own blog! It's called Cyclone Cats, on account we live near Iowa State University.
5. She lets me go outside! On my leash of course!

6. She cleans up my cat yak when I eats my breakfast to fast. And she hardly never complains!
7. She lets me sleep in the bathroom closet where she keeps her clean towels. This is the only place where Conner can't get me and she respects my need to get away from him.
8. She brushes me! I loves to be brushed! We sits on the couch and she brushes and brushes and brushes! It makes me purrrrrr.
9.She recognizes my Princess Status. Took her a while but she finally agreed that I'm a princess and should be referred to as "Princess Jesse" or "Pretty Princess".
10. She helped Dazey, Conner, the 2 legged kitten and me sponsor Judah from Best Friends for Christmas.
11. She lets me sleep on top of the computer monitor any old time I wanna.
12. She opens windows for me when it's nice outside.
13. The very last reason that my Mom that Lives Here should be Food Lady of the Year: SHE LOVES ME! VERY MUCH!

Thursday 13 (a little late) Edition 2

The day is almost over and The Mom that Lives Here just had time to get a TT up. She was "buzy" baking goodies all day. Did we get any? Nope. She even had a window open cuz it was like a heat wave out there but no one got to sit in the window either. MEAN MOM!
