Thankful Thursday

We are very thankful this time of year. It's getting pretty cold and icky outside so we are glad we are indoor only kitties! We have safe, warm beds to sleep in, plenty of crunchies to eat, places to hide and places to do our business.

Mom is thankful that her tests last week for her wrists show no carpal tunnel syndrome. She still have some pain, but the doctor isn't sure what it is.

Yesterday's pictures of the nip pillow my Valentine Pumpkin sent me. I LOVE IT! He's such a super-duper mancat.

Yesterday, the MIG reported to the MOM that he thought jesse had died overnight. He said she was laying so still. When he gotted out of the bed to go hunting, she didn't even move! So, he poked her. Nothing. Said she felt kinda cold (Well, DUH. It's WINTER!). So that really worried him. So, he finally picked her up. That made her mad so she ran off. The Mom slept through it all. This morning, she made sure to sleep on the Mom's side so she wouldn't get bothered by the MIG again.

It's snowing again. We aren't supposed to get a lot. But we don't want it. We want OPEN WINDOWS!

Conner had a yucky gross upchuck the other morning in the Mom's and MIG's room. The mom said she is glad he doesn't sleep in her bed! It was on the floor, at the foot of the bed. Mom made sure to tell the MIG that it was there so he didnt' step in it and get all mad. When the Mom was getting up the day it happened, Conner was sitting there eating it. He ate most of it....I think.

I'm off to a nap! Meow!

12:33 PM CST UPDATE: The snow began about 10:30 or so. It started as flurries and has continued snowing. Maybe a 1/2 inch so far. Our Man in Green came home for lunch and said is very cold and the roads aren't to bad yet.

thursday already?

Our mom has been bad about helping us blog again. Yesterday, our gramma came and a friend of our mom's too. They putted this smelly wet stuff on the walls. We couldn't touch it or sniff it or eat it. We spent most of the day up on mom's bed. The 2-legged kitten (now we call him Monkey) couldn't play, eat or touch it either. Today, she is going to get a masaage. We tried to tell her that we could do it but she won't listen. Her other friend gave her a paper for a free one so she is 'sited bout that! She is also 'sited about Iowa State Football starting tonight! Go CYCLONES!

Mom also says the Monkey is getting teeth so he has been cranky and sick this week too. So, that's another reason we've been MIA.

Dazey got outside yesterday!! She strolled right out of the open garage door and into the backyard! She gotted in trouble.

The Man in Green got to Quwate Kuwait safely. He should be back to the USA by next weekend!

We are sad about the loss of so many friends this week. It's been very sad.

The sun is shining nicely today so we know that Anastasia is happy. We know she is playing with Ubee and Oscar, the Puppycat. We'll miss you all.

Tearful Thursday

This has been a rough week around the cat blogosphere (and elsewhere). We've lost a few members who will be missed by furybody here very much. Then other puddin's are sick too. Our thoughts and prurryers go out to each and every one of you!

Here it is, Thursday again! We need to get the Mom that Lives Here on the ball to get these posts up sooner! The day is about gone! Drumroll pleez...................here it is, our "Thursday Thirteen"

13 things about winter in IOWAH

(there is some good things and bad things)

1. We can't go outside. It's to cold, so sayz the Mom that Lives Here. She goes out, why can't we?
2. Can't open the windows in the winter. Refer to #1.
3. The Mom that Lives Here doesn't bring in any pretty flowers for us to eat..........er....smell.
4. Sometimes it does this thing called "snow". It's cold and white and falls from the sky. When it comes in the house, it makes our paws all wet and cold. Although, we haven't had any yet!
5. We don't get ice cubes in our water dish.
6. There are no birdies to watch and envision as our lunch out the windows.
7. It's to cold to lay on the kitchen floor.
8. Mom has a heated blanket that makes the bed toasty warm!
9. We don't get baths!!!!
10. We can lay in front of the heaty vents to stay warm!
11. We gets to cuddle with the Mom that Lives Here more!
12. Catmas!
13. It's closer to the time the Man in Green comes home from Irak!

Thursday 13 (a little late) Edition 2

The day is almost over and The Mom that Lives Here just had time to get a TT up. She was "buzy" baking goodies all day. Did we get any? Nope. She even had a window open cuz it was like a heat wave out there but no one got to sit in the window either. MEAN MOM!
