Another birthday at our house!

IT'S MY 9TH BIRTHDAY TODAY!  

I can hardly believe it, cuz I still feel like a kitten!

It's only 730 AM here and mom already has 2 windows open! The Little Monkey will be begging to give me treats soon!

It's gonna be a GREAT DAY! Happy Birthday to ME!

It's my birfday!

TODAY IS MY 8TH BIRFDAY! WOW!

I got some cuddles from the  Little Monkey already this morning, but after that, I settled in for a nice long nap on mom's bed.

It's supposed to be really nice today, so I bet I'll have a lot of open windows to lay in!

My sisters are probably going to be jealous-cuz Mom 'membered my birfday (and not theirs!)

Things are going pretty good here. Mom is almost done with school for a little while, the Little Monkey is growing up really fast and the Man in Green is staying busy working on helicopters.

Don't tell anycat else, but I cuddled with the Little Monkey last night!

Mom was in his room, trying to put him to bed. The door was open so I came right in, hopped on the bed and layed right down on the Little Monkey. and ....... I Purred! He laffed and laffed. I'm not normally one to cuddle with him, so this was exciting for him. He petted me nice and so did mom. I stayed there for a long time!

Maybe I'll do it again.....

It's my 7th birfday today!!!

 I am turning 7 whole years old today!!! Since we got this Mac and put the PC away, there are no pictures of me to show you, but you know what I look like.

I'm the manly orange mancat that is turning 7 today!

I am posting this myself cuz my sister Jesse doesn't like me and Dazey is to busy getting pets by the MIG (whose birfday is NEXT weeK!)

PS-Almost all of the 6+ inches of snow we gotted on Sunday is gone.

Early Friday morning, I jumped in bed with the Mom and the MIG. I normally don't go in the big bed when the beans are there. They take up to much room! It's better when I'm there by myself then I can streeeetttttcccchhhh out. (like this)
Anyways, it gotted cold in our house so I wanted to snuggle. SO, I just jumped up right near the Mom and walked over her and the MIG for a bit. The Mom rolled over so I had more room right next to her! I got all snuggly and warm. She petted me and I even sorta purred.

Then I put the bitey on her. She stopped petting me then. Then she started petting me again a bit later.

Then I put the bitey on her and ran away.

I was done cuddling anyway.

Mom and the MIG say thanks for the anniversaree wishes last week!

It THUNDERED here this morning. Isn't that crazy? It is drizzly and the weather beans say 6" or more of the cold white stuff tomorrow. ALL AT ONCE! That's even more crazy than thunder in February! Our gramma was sposed to come tomorrow but she'll be staying home now.

Tomorrow, February 4, 2008, at 00:00 GMT (7:00 p.m. New York /EST), NASA will beam the Beatles’ “Across The Universe” to the star Polaris, 431 light years away (that’s 431 years travel at the speed of light before our all-time favorite Beatles song reaches the 2.5 quadrillion miles away star). This is being done to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the song, the 45th anniversary of NASA’s Deep Space Network, an international network of antennas that supports missions to explore the universe, and the 50th anniversary of NASA.

Across the Universe
NASA has invited people around the world to play “Across the Universe” on their audio systems at the same time NASA beams its mp3 version into outer space. The idea was hatched by Beatles’ historian Martin Lewis, who encourages all Beatles fans to play the track as it is being beamed to the distant star. Additionally, this date will be known as “Across the Universe Day”. The event marks the first time a radio song has been beamed into deep space.

We were 'sposed to get more snow yesterday, but we only got a dusting. That is good, mom says. Most of our other snow has gone away, you can see some of the dead grass out our back windows.

My old former dad came and visited me yesterday! I haven't seen him in a while.
Well, I think he really came to see the Man in Green about some stupid army/school/computer stuff. I let him pet me a bit then I ran off.

The Little Monkey petted me last night too. I did not like this. My mom held me and he petted me. He was gentle, but I didn't like it. Afterwards, just for good measure, I bopped him on the head (I don't have any claws so it didn't hurt). I don't think he was terrified of a big mancat like me because he just laughed.

I get even though. I lay on the other side of the gate, just out of reach. He can see me but can't get me! HA!

We had some rain yesterday and is sposed to snow the day after tomorrow.

Mom says we got about 5 more inches of the cold, white wet stuff from the sky. Schools all over are closed. It finally stopped snowing about 11ish. We'll post pictures tomorrow-our battery has to charge now!!

In other news (seems all we talk aboutlately) is we are in another storm advisory. The weather beans are talking an inch of ice then 3-5 inches of snow on top starting tonight and into tomorrow. Our Man in Green has to go down to the VA hospital for a doctor visit and heart tests (just cuz he's back from the war, not cuz he's sick) so pray for a safe trip for him. Mom and the Little Monkey are staying home, where it's warm! Mom said maybe she'll bake some cookies! YAY!

Things are slowly getting back to normal at our house. Mom is going to try and help us blog this week! Our Man in Green still has 2 whole weeks before he goes back to his regular jobbie so they have been spedning time together and with the little Monkey.

Tomorrow there is supposed to be the water from the sky and the flashy lights and loud boomies. It's been real nice here though. We've had the windows open and getting to smell all the good outside smells.

To any and all that has asked, Yes, once our MIG is home, they are home for good! After nearly 18 months, this is great! Hooray!

They are currently doing briefings and medical outprocessing in Texas. He told our mom that it is very boring and he's ready to hitchhike to get home!

It will be a very busy week here at our house. Lots of things to get finished, cleaned and ready for the MIG's homecoming. We know you will forgive us if we don't visit and/or comment much this week. We have to get in tip-top snuggle condition to welcome our Man in Green home in true Cyclone Cat fashion!
