finally Friday!

Friday

First, THANKS for all the birfday wishes we gotted last week! We had a good day. We gotted stinky goodness (only on special occasions cuz it normally makes one of us, if not all, yak) and some new mousies!! Lots of pets too!

The Mom and MIG are going away tonight! And are going to be gone for 2 whole nights! They're leaving the Little Monkey here though. So, we'll have some new people to investigate (if we're brave enough to come out)

The beans also gotted a new desk! IT's REALLY BIG! It'll be fun to play on! And a new computer to go on it. We'll have mom post pictures next week. Jesse is going to lose her kitty cat warming box. (I don't think she knows that yet!)

It's been warm this week and cool this week. The weather guessers are saying rain. All.Next.Week. That means......no open windows.

Mom goes back to school next week. We gotted to sleep in with her this week cuz she was on somethin' called Spring break.

finally friday

hi friends. Happy Friday!

The noisy guys on the roof finished 2 days ago. We're glad it's done. No more stuff falling by the windows or loud noises up there.

THe Little Monkey is not sleeping in his bed at night. He's sleeping on the floor in his room cuz he climbs out of his bed. He has the door closed (and locked to keep him in) so we can't bother him. He's been pulling tails (Dazey) and tackling kitties (Dazey) lateley. We (and the Mom and MIG) hope he sleeps again soon.

Mom said thanks for the birfday wishes. She had a good day-she gotted to be in a wedding and look all fancy.

We had windows open all day yesterday. It was rainy in the morning but stayed cool all day.

So much happening around the blogosphere so we need to get to readin' and visiting.

What a week!
First, our MIG had a super great birfday last week. He and The Mom wented out for supper where he haded shrimp, scallops and steak! The Mom had chicken and steak and gave her shrimp to the MIG. He digs stuff from the ocean. Ant Kat took the Little Monkey to Petsmart where he looked at rats, hamsters, gerbils and other kitties. And last week, he also gotted to play with some other kitty cats!

That is The Mom's friends kitty. His name is Cy (after the Iowa State Cyclones Mascot). He likes kids a lot more than we do! BUt, he lives with 3 of them!

The MIG has been sick. The Mom was sick this week too. The Little Monkey is sorta sick, cept now The Mom thinks he might be getting some more toothies. He wakes up a lot lately. He's gonna be 2 soon so he's getting to be a big Little Monkey. We stay out of his way, cuz he likes to give loves. BIG LOVES.

We've had open windows a lot this week! That has been GREAT! But, we are sposed to get thunderboomies and flashing lights tonight. We haded rain the other day, overnight and tomorrow too. The rain helps the flowers, but doesn't let The Mom open windows.

Frigid Friday

The weather beans are talking a major winter storm moving our direction, starting tomorrow night. This does not sound good. It's been cold here lately too. So, we been snuggling a lot between the Man in Green and our Mom.

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Saturday and Saturday night.
NWS forecasters said that conditions will deteriorate rapidly Saturday morning as snow spreads from southwest to northeast across the state.

They is talking 1-5 inches of the white stuff with icy stuff on top.

If we gets the snow, we'll have pictures to show! Mom says it seems pretty early for a major winter storm. We'll see!

Freaky Friday

The MTLH got this in an email. So, we thoughted we would share with you all!

In the email it said "The book these came from said some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!"

We just want to say that we would put MAJOR BITEY on anyone who tried to paint any of us! This isn't even ALL of them...maybe she'll post more another week. Weird Beans!

Friendly Friday (Thanks Kimo and Sabi)

First, a thanks to Kimo and Sabi for an idea for today! None of us are formerly feral or frootbats so we going post some friendly photos (and maybe one of family too since we want to!){The other picture is our 2-legged kitten and the MTV and of course, Connner Cloud.}

It is supposed to snow again here this weekend. The crazyweather people are saying 3-5 MORE inches of that cold white stuff starting tomorrow. And cold cold cold....When will it be spring so we can open the windows again?
